In addition to term-time classes, the Chinese Learning Centre regularly runs holday workshops during half-terms, Easter, Christmas and summer holidays. The workshop program is a combination of language lessons and cultural activities. The students engage in a variety of activities, including learning to make simple conversation in Mandarin, learning Chinese calligraphy and Chinese brush painting, making Chinese masks, learning Chinese paper cutting and paper folding, singing Chinese traditional songs and rhymes, learning Chinese traditional dances, learning Chinese poems and listening to Chinese traditional stories.
